The Morrissey family has publicly supported the investigation from the start: a 1,000-flier campaign along the river, a poster night at Brandywine Brewing Co., press conferences, and anniversary appeals. The Susan Morrissey Foundation was established to fund an annual scholarship for English students at Academy Park High School, and a family “Who Killed Susan” Facebook page exists.
